Race Director’s Report (Oct 2015)
Hi Everyone, I hope you have all dusted off your bikes and running shoes to get out amongst it despite the challenging winds at times. Planning is underway for the 2016 Classic to be held on Sat 27 February. All our usual events are on the programme AND we’ve included a newbe! We have decided to add a duathlon to our entry list. This event will be staged as a 2km run followed by a 10km bike and finished off with a 5km run. The duathlon will be for individuals only with a men and womens section. Entry fees are to be held at previous years levels making the Whitehill Classic one of the more affordable events on the racing calendar. As usual our event is one week prior to the Motatapu. So get out there… get fit and we look forward to seeing you on course next February!! — John Douglas (Race Director)
